"Nintendo Step your game up." ROFL
SM3DW/Z:ALBW Prove that Nintendo's games are the gold standard of quality, both benefiting from the unique features of their respective hardware.
Pikmin 3, Wonderful 101, WW HD, Deus EX DC, NFS: Most Wanted U and ZombiU as well as Nintendo Land benefited from the unique features of Wii U and are fantastic games with more to come like: Bayonetta 2, Monolith X, MK 8, Smash Bros, ZeldaU, SMT X Fire Emblem, Project CARS an...
@PlayGamesNotConsoles: Glad that more people have noticed this trend, and I know what you mean. Nintendo produces the gold-standard quality of games in this industry and will continue to do so if their latest masterpieces are any indication(SM3DW and Z:ALBW).
@Majin-vegeta: "knack is a great game"! "you sound butthurt"!!"tell your company"!!! never stopped to think that You might be the one who's butthurt and you need to tell YOUR company to ...
He is even worse than a tool, the guy's sinked a big name 3rd party publisher for goodness sake and still has the audacity to dismiss an essential pillar of this industry like this. You liked what he said despite the success of 3DS and the innovation in the Wii U and the level of quality in its games that use the features of Wii U to conduct the full experience. Wii U is on the comeback whether you and mr. rubin like it or not, and that's the best time for useless reports like this on...
Nintendo= Biggest Video Game company in the world.
rubin= Jobless Tool.
Could the person who disagreed enlighten me on why they disagreed!?
The game turned out better than I expected and is really fun to play, and yes, the world is creepy in a strange nostalgic way. Good review btw.
One of my favorite cartoons as a child of the 80s' along with Grendizer, the game looks fun I'll download it and give it a play when I finish up with M3DW, Red Dead Redemption and Z:ALBW. Too many games too little time >:(
Glad that someone noticed that! strange use of the disagree privilege !?
I think you forgot DK: Tropical Freeze, Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros, Project CARS, Fast Racing NEO, Zelda U, Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem and whatever is the other project RETRO is working on (?Metroid\?Star Fox) these are all worthwhile games if you ask me.
I know this is off topic, but I can't stop seeing how much Reggie looks like DK, in human form of course.
You are welcome :)
Excellent list my friend, these are the exact racing games I am looking forward to, and they really cover almost every racing subgenre, I might add The 90s' Arcade Racer to my most anticipated racing games list as well :)
@Utalkin2me
Multiplats like BF4, Assassin's Creed and others are infinitely better and cheaper and also mod-able with FREE online on PC...FACT, if you have a PC, the only thing you need is a Wii U to have the perfect experience or vice versa. Think before you disagree.
@PlayGamesNotConsoles,
Welcome to N4G, where the boundaries of logic are shrouded in fanboyism(sony in this website!)
Nintendo really keeps giving the goods this year, my 1st GOTY was Fire Emblem, then I changed my mind to Wonderful 101, then along came Zelda:ALBW and now this game! I find myself torn between Z:ALBW and SM3DW, lets say the former is my handheld GOTY and the latter is my console GOTY. I am a multi-console gamer and this is my Opinion, so please don't feel offended by it!
Well, it seems that they already were here, naturally and obviously disagreed to your comment and went back on to search for negative Nintendo news to feast upon.
Well, thank you guys for noticing that, the game looks and plays wonderfully well as reported in multiple early reviews as well as in Nintendo Directs it appeared in, and since you seem to have a good relationship with Nintendo, please consider doing a larger project for Wii U that's related to Bravely Default, if not in lore then at least in gameplay/art style, that would be huge!
I am very interested in this game, I love the feel of racing games of the 90'. I was in my teens back then, Daytona USA, Sega Rally, Cruisin' USA, Beetle Adv. Racing and Top Gear Rally on N64 were my favorite racing games of the era. I'll buy this game on Wii U as soon as it gets released.
Nice Ad. Agassi was my favorite Tennis player back when I cared so much about Tennis.
One of the things that I felt playing this game(almost finished), and I believe anyone who gets the chance to play it will arrive at a similar conclusion, and that's the game is as polished as humanely possible in almost every way. I don't know how Nintendo may top this game's level of quality in the future, but if I have to bet, I'll likely bet on them doing that with their next big game.
@xsilver: Your "comment" doesn't address what I said, but don't worry, I thought the ultimate subject to be discussed on a "gaming" website, between "gamers" should be "games", but I digress, doesn't change the fact that all companies need to "step their game up" and that you pop up on almost every Nintendo news article with something negative to say while forgetting to criticize your beloved company on releasing mediocre games and...
